Our story
Twenty Summers began with a personal realization.
What comes next should be worth the wait.
For much of our lives, we are busy building careers, families, homes and futures. We raise children, care for the people we love and meet the responsibilities of everyday life. Along the way, the extraordinary journeys we imagine for ourselves are often put aside, saved for when life is less busy, when the time is right or simply for “one day.”
As my husband Peter and I entered our own next chapter, we began to think about the passage of time differently, not simply in years, but in summers still waiting to be lived.
Summers feel vivid: new places, warm light, long tables and unexpected discoveries. And with that came a quiet realization: the time we have been saving things for is not somewhere in the distance. It is now.
Twenty Summers grew from the desire to create truly special journeys, rich with discovery and meaning, and made effortless through thoughtful planning.
Twenty Summers is not a countdown.It is an invitation to stop saving the extraordinary for later.
